IDEAL® Hosts Manufacturing Tour

IDEAL Industries, Inc. welcomed the Makers on the Move tour bus to its Sycamore, Illinois headquarters, showcasing its position as a leader in the manufacturing industry.

 

SYCAMORE, ILL. – IDEAL Industries, Inc., a global leader in electrical, power management, and industrial charging solutions, welcomed the Makers on the Move tour to its manufacturing facility in Sycamore, Ill. on October 8. The event featured tour bus signings, networking opportunities, photo sessions, and speeches from the General Manager of IDEAL Electrical North America Carmen Cardillo along with Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) and Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) representatives.

IMA and IMEC organize the Makers on the Move tour every October to celebrate National Manufacturing Month. With stops at leading manufacturing facilities, colleges, and high schools, the 8-day tour aims to demonstrate the critical role of high-tech, clean manufacturing and promote job opportunities in the sector to current students. IDEAL Industries, Inc. was proud to be a part of this initiative to showcase modern manufacturing facilities and inspire interest in the industry.
